i should add that Top Secret is both my all-time favorite comedy AND my favorite rock musical, and that Kilmer is brilliant in the Elvis role.
Have i mentioned that this death shit is really starting to piss me off?

Skeet Surfin! The ZAZ Boys' best work. Kilmer gained a bad reputation with some folks- others, not. What he definitely had was a lot of talent acting, dancing and singing. Gone too soon.
Top Secret way under appreciated. Spot on Steve...perfectly acted by Mr. Kilmer. Gone much too soon.

Tombstone - he paid homage to Chaplins dancing forks with his performance of the twirling coffee cup n response to Johnny Ringos pistol flourishes. I could watch that over and over.
The Doors - he was Morrisons doppelganger - the embodiment of the Lizard King right down to the Conch belt and leather pants.
