Mini-Post
While you're cataloguing the assholes, let me stop by to say that: yes, my laptop died; no, I didn't lose the book; and yes, donations to the powerpop fund in the left sidebar are gratefully appreciated. I replaced it, because I had to, even though I could honestly not afford to. So if you can toss me five bucks, that would be wonderful.

I'm still trying to figure out how you were able to download all the important stuff from your laptop on to an external hard drive before the crash.
Seriously -- do modern computers now give you an hour warning before they die?
Yeah, since it was a power issue. It was fully charged at the time of the damage.
The 3YO, trying to be good, plugged the charger in so enthusiastically he ripped the charging pin off the motherboard. To his credit, he let me know right away.
Anyway, once I saw the damage, I pulled out my handy dandy external drive and got all the music and documents.
The email, not so much.
Wow -- what a drag. Lucky you got the stuff off, but still....
anyway to kick in some dough without paypal? can't stand those fuckers.
