[Optional soundtrack for this post: The Kinks' "Phenomenal Cat"]
Ladies and gentlemen, may we please present -- at approximately two years of age and weighing in at sixteen(!) pounds -- the latest addition to the home of a certain Shady Dame of my acquaintance:
The incomparable Eddie ("Big Foot") Cohen.
The aforementioned Shady Dame and I have lost two beloved pussycats in the last five months, so we are truly blessed by the arrival of the Edster.
Normal music posts resume tomorrow, but for today...well, I just had to.

Too. Adorable. Must look. Away.
Eddie looks like a good one.
I always recommend replacing a lost cat as soon as possible. There are plenty of phenomenal cats out there in need of a home. It's Win-Win.
I saw what you did there, Buzz. Love the Kinks reference.
He's had quite a life story ... Abandoned after Hurricane Sandy, wandered the streets, rescued from Animal Control, then spent three weeks at the vet recovering from pneumonia. His foster mom did a great job with him, and he is a great cat.
