Jane Wiedlin of The Go-Gos turns 62 today.
I have never felt so old in my life.
BTW, I have always assumed she was a nice Jewish girl. Boy, I hope I'm right.

You would be wrong. Trust me on this.
Jewish or no, she's a professional dominatrix, or at least she was.
She once "Liked" a comment I made on Charlie Pierce's blog and I felt like I hit the lottery. Pathetic, I know.
She's no Dorothy Moskowitz, I'll tell you.
That’s a helluva obscure reference, pal.
And I saw her live.
Obscure? They were on Columbia, after all.
Pete — they sold like maybe three records, tops.
one of them to me
I too saw USA (live at the Fillmore East, opening for Richie Havens and The Troggs in early 1968) on the same night The Yardbirds were playing down the block at the Anderson. My first ever Fillmore show, which had only recently opened at the time. Place was half empty for the early show. The USA was the loudest band I had ever heard at the time. And since. And that album of theirs is still great!
