Your Tuesday (Truncated) Moment of Awesome

Fifty seconds -- albeit with great video and sound -- of Tommy James and Joan Jett doing "Crimson and Clover" at the 2015 Rock Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

I'm assuming the whole thing is up at HBO On Demand, and I can't wait to see it.

But in the meantime -- wow.

Joan's apparent face-lift makes her hard to look at.

Doesn't bother me one whit.

Hello all...no, please remain seated,

Great clip. Joan Jett has metric tons of cool. No, no...She's got hectares of it.

Boy, Tommy James had about 5 or 6 just killer singles. Has anyone listened to Draggin' the Line recently? Heard of cover of it on the radio this morning...by Chris Stamey. Feel good rock single.

Everything is wonderful at this point in the performance. Later Miley Cyrus joins them and mars what could have been a near perfect set. The fact that the little bitch was even on stage with Joan pissed me off. And then she sucked like the wannabe she will always be. Too bad too, because everything up to that point had been stellar in Joan's opening set. Dave Grohl and Tommy James as guests made absolute sense ..., but Miley Cyrus??

Miley and Joan are tight now? WTF. Strange bedfellows. Can anything good come out of this? I have serious doubts.

And BBJ: Looks like Joanie ran into a botox quack. She's got a bit of that frozen face Nancy Pelosi thing going on. I don't care. Even if she ends up sleeping with Miley Cyrus, she still rocks.

Loved TJ and the Shondells (and solo TJ). Great AM radio hits.

I'm guessing Joan was not-so-subtly campaigning to get TJ&tS inducted into the HoF. Madonna did this a few years back by having Iggy & the Stooges play at her induction. Although there are a few artists of that era I'd like to see get in first (Moodies, Paul Revere & the Raiders, Zombies), they'd be a worthy addition.

if I was Tommy I'd wear it as a badge that I was NOT in the corrupt fiasco known as the Rock Hall of Fame.

Loved TJ since my older sisters bought his 45s. For "bubblegum" (ugh) the man had a vision about his music, a real artist.
