My granddaughter is struggling with this problem right now. She took a year deciding whether to play left or right handed. All true!

I just finished reading Lenny Kaye's great semi-memoir ("Lightning Striking")...in a passing comment he says - and I paraphrase - that Gerry Marsden wore his guitar high across his chest in the Liverpool manner. The last part surprised me.

I'm thinking that Chuck Berry was the template for low slung guitar.
That "Brown Eyed Handsome Man" knew how to rock

And then again, George H. wore his guitar pretty high too!
As a non musician I'm going to ask: Does it make a difference holding the guitar higher or lower?
