Well, This Seems Pertinent

Veteran British punk folkie Billy Bragg and "City of Heroes." A tribute to the people of Minnesota that apparently he wrote and recorded just the other day, for obvious reasons.

I've been saying it a lot lately, but one way you can tell when you are living in troubling times is when the folk music starts to get good again. 😎

I forgot what publication it was, but to copy from one of its reviews, "If I Had a Hammer, I'd Hammer on a Folk Singer." I'm betting "Hootenanny" won't make a comeback.

Have loved Billy Bragg's voice since the first time I heard it. Not a song that will live forever, but needed here and now.

I love Billy Bragg. Good on him. Now, where's the generation that complains but is too busy staring at their phones? It's their turn to seize the moment...
