From 1980, please enjoy...well, for obvious reasons, I'm not gonna tell you who, but their song -- from their sole, and eponymous, LP -- is called 'She Was Something Else."
Pretty cute, albeit utterly derivative of just about every other skinny tie record on the radio that year.
In any case, a coveted PowerPop No-Prize will be awarded the first reader who correctly identifies the band without Googling.

Is this The Tremblers/Peter Noone? I've heard OF it but never heard it before.
DING! DING! DING!
We have a winner.
I'd heard of it without hearing it either. Found a download site for the album the other day, and I figured, if I don't have to pay for it, why not?
Not bad at all, but not particularly memorable either.
A friend of mine saw 'em live in Asbury back in the day, though, and she said they were quite entertaining.
If your Friday poll will involve voting for notable 60s-era musicians who were "reborn" as New Wavers, I vote Jack Casady and SVT, with their power-pop "Heart of Stone."
If I hear Oh oh oh, Baby's got a heart of stone one more time, I'll scream. In fact, the first time I heard the forty-first iteration playing the band's single, I killed three nuns. . . .
Uh, sorry guys -- no Listomania tomorrow, although I wish I'd thought of that one.
Just a coincidence about the No-Prize today.
New Listomania next week, though, fer sure.
I bought this back in the day when it first came out (a promo I believe). Not bad actually, a few good songs. I also liked, I'll Be Taking Her Out Tonight.
In exactly one minute I heard the first verse and chorus.
I had a lot of records like this once, and I wore a skinny tie or two back in the day, but now recoil at the very "sound".
