Yes, THAT Billy Mumy...
...captured, via cell phone, Brian Wilson and two guys from his touring band last week at a Gibson guitar showroom.
Brian and company, of course, were performing a raggedy, but ultimately wonderful, unplugged version of "God Only Knows." And a little snippet of one of the Beatles songs Brian sang on Beach Boys Party back in the day.
Mumy takes a selfie at the very end, BTW.

Billy Mumy is half of Barnes and barnes, responsible for 1979's "Fish Heads". Eat them up, yum.
He also produced an album for Crispin Glover, which is one of the great bizarre artifacts of the 80s.
He worked with the group America in the '80s as well.
And he made a pretty good CD in the 90s with his band The Jenerators.
Featuring Miguel Ferrer on drums. I have a copy somewhere....
From wikipedia
"In 1986, Barnes and Barnes also wrote and produced "It's a Hard Business", a duet featuring Fischer and Rosemary Clooney. The song was the result of a telephone friendship that began after Clooney heard Fischer's song "Oh God, Please Send Me a Kid to Love"."
Handsome, pretty, handsome Brian Wilson!
Pretty damn steady camerawork for an iPhone. Good job.
What does Billy Mumy have against Scott Bennett, a not-so secret weapon from the Brian Wilson Band? He sounds great on vocals, even if the speaker covered his face when he is finally panned too. What a cool shout-out to Beach Boys Party with "Tell Me Why."
Wow! That is pretty astounding.
