And speaking as we were downstairs of T-Bone Burnett's genius as a producer, here's the very first hit he produced -- from 1968, it's the legendary Legendary Stardust Cowboy and "Paralyzed."
Be warned -- if you hit the play button and listen, you may never come back; there may be a part of you that's gone forever.
Incidentally, that's T-Bone on drums. Talk about multi-talented.
For more info on The Ledge, as he's mostly known, go HERE if you dare.

I'm not sure if that's the original version or not, but then again I've heard so many versions at this point that I'm not sure I remember what the original sounds like. The distorted drums make me suspect it is...
In any case, it's certainly terrifying.
:-)
That is possibly the worst song I have ever heard. Wow.
The Ledge's performance of it, sort of, on "Laugh-In" is also legendary.
:-)
Don't need to click, I remember! (shudders...) Was not your BFF David Bowie an early partisan of Ole Alvin? :)

Apparently Dave could relate to the whole stardust cowboy concept. For obvious reasons.
:-)

I am not amused!
ROTP(lumber)
I saw the Ledge play on a double bill with Buck Naked & The Bare Bottom Boys.
I think this song gives real meaning to:
"WTF?"
Oy gevalt.
The only thing I've heard that comes close to that -- and it's not even in the same state -- is Hasil Adkins' She Said:
