Here's Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel with their 1974 single Judy Teen, which reached #5 on the UK charts in 1974. This song scores high on the precious and twee scale of glam circa the mid-1970s, but I have always had a special place in my heart for this band. Enjoy and buon weekend!

The biggest glam act that made nary a ripple on this side of the pond.
Never been a fan, but I've always wondered why they didn't travel in ways that some of the others did.
Very original sound indeed.
I saw them once in a very small club in '89 in Darmstadt, Germany. The sound guy was a nice bloke who also wondered why Steve had never really made it.
They always sounded like a poor man's Ray Davies to me.
