The Tooth of Crime

Ian McLagan -- keyboard genius of The Small Faces/Faces and much much else -- takes a bite out of a CD featuring a bassist whose name rhymes with Sleeve Nimels.

Words, as they fucking say, fail me.

I just had my picture taken with him a couple of weeks ago. Too bad I can't attach it here. Is he the nicest guy in rock 'n' roll? He could very well be.

He's been my favorite piano player since I was 11.

The first time I ever saw him, he was still touring with his old Hammond B3. He was kind enough to let us know that this was THE actual B3 he played on the Faces' albums and Rod's solo records. Yes, this was the same B3 you hear on "Maggie Mae." I was in awe. After Ian's set, I went up and touched it. I'm not a religious man, so that was probably as close as I've gotten to the divine.

Mac Rules! It's that simple.

Are you sure he's not saying The Floor Models eat it?

Just asking
