Babyblogging: Tonsil edition

Light posting recently because of the surgery and recovery of the six year old, who shovels ice cream and lays around in turn.

Yestereve, the six year old and his sister enjoy sherbet. She's quite impressed with the array of puddings and ice cream in which the house is suddenly awash.

When he's not playing video games, the patient is content to lay around with the new arrival for periods of time extending into seconds.

I think I would be too, actually... There probably won't be any left by August. Sigh.

Hope the boy feels better soon!

I hardly recognized the six year old without his tonsils.

It is right, and a good and joyful thing, always and everywhere, to give thanks for pudding and ice cream.

Good to see them all again!

I still remember that when I was 3 years old and had my tonsils out (one of my earliest recollections), they ran out of ice cream in the hospital -- I still remember how disappointed I felt! I'm glad to see the 6-year old is getting plenty of what he needs.

Lovely to see the other spuds, too!

I think they boy's getting a bit sick of it, to tell you the truth.
