Closed Due to Small Nervous Breakdown

Had to put Mom in a facility over the weekend.

Fortunately, the people that run/work at the place seem competent and compassionate.

I, however, am sort of a wreck at the moment. Regular posting will resume tomorrow or Thursday, and thank you for you indulgence.

Good luck, Steve. A good residence is worth its weight in gold, and even so, it's impossible not to worry about an elderly parent under someone else's care.

Oh Steve that must have been so hard for you. But as time goes by you'll know it was for the best.

Sorry to hear that Steve. She'll have good care, and you'll worry less. Believe me, I know what you're going through. Give me a call when things settle down a bit.

I've been there, Steve. It's quite the transition.

Best of luck to you and your mom.

I can't even imagine...but I'm glad that you think the care facility's workers are good.

Take good care...our thoughts are with you.

Very sorry to hear that, Steve. I know how difficult that must have been for you, but it sounds like it was the right thing to do. Hoping everything goes well for both you and your mom.
