Getting ready to head off to the land of the ignoble Frog next week, so innocuous blogging till then.
In the meantime, from our department of ME ME ME!!! department, here's a shot of the Boys Don't Lie mafia -- the proprietress of this here blog, Moira McCormick and ME ME ME!!! -- at Tuesday's book reading in darkest Hepsterland (actually The West bar in Williamsburg.)
And it's finally happened; the deluxe reissue edition of Floor Your Love, featuring ME ME ME!!! on bass, has finally been released. Here's the revised front and back covers. I still haven't seen the new inside art, by the way, and it's driving me crazy.
In any event, you can, and should, order the darn thing over at the website of ZERO HOUR RECORDS in Australia. Have I mentioned that Zero Hour is the world's greatest record label?

"Are You Here or Are You GoneS?"
I know. I begged my mogul to let me see the art before he went to press, precisely because I figured it would need proof reading, but what can you do. I'm telling people we intended it, if anybody asks, though.
Other than that I think the back is gorgeous, however. Can't wait to see the inside art...
As long as they spelled my name right. ;-)
It does look great, though.
You can always hold a "What's Wrong With This Picture" promo contest.
How can I possibly tell how bad it sucks?
If you go look for Floor Your Love at Amazon or iTunes, you can hear clips from the 2012 version. The new one's been beautifully remastered and sounds more than incrementally better, but you'll get the idea.
Does the new one have "extra" liner notes? Why else does one really buy an album?
But Coolest label? Dunno. Lots of tribute albums listed there. Is Floor Your Love a tribute record?
I'll still buy it, only because I have not gotten around to getting it previously.
